There are over 100 different kinds of these creatures scattered around the map. Each one changes up the gauge gimmicks with new fight patterns, meaning it takes genuine practice to read their movements without snapping your line.

Rod is your main guy for the actual fishing, especially when trying to reel in tricky Sea’Az targets.
